Molded Mints

We spent many days sitting at the kitchen table molding these silly mints for some event or other that Nanny was involved in!  Baby showers, weddings, bridal showers, you name it!  You need to find flexible rubber molds to use for these mints so that you can bend them to pop the mints out once they are molded.  Nanny used roses and lot and bells for weddings, but those bells sure were hard to get back out of the mold!  I'd stick to roses!

1/3 c. white Karo syrup
1/2 stick butter
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 tsp. mint flavoring or 1/2 tsp.if using oil
Food color as needed

Mix and knead together until mixed.  Then, mold into shapes using rubber or plastic molds.
